Peninsula Co-op in your Community – Summer 2025

July 1: Canada Day at the Gorge Waterway, 8:30am-4:00pm enjoy a pancake breakfast, art displays, parade and more!
July 18: PISE‘s first ever Sunset Run, on the Peninsula Co-op track.
August 1-3: Filberg Festival – Enjoy music and art all weekend long at the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park in Comox
August 10: Cadboro Bay Festival, Gyro Beach 11:00am – 3:00pm
August 22-24: Comox Valley Ribfest, presented by Peninsula Co-op! Enjoy music, great food and family fun all weekend at the Cumberland Village Park.
August 23: Cobble Hill Fair, spend the day at this old-fashioned Country Fair – 3350 Watson Ave in Cobble Hill. With live music, pancake breakfast, kids zone and classic fair fun.

Donations at a glance:
- Peninsula Co-op & The Liquor Co. 1977 sponsored the first ever 5 Hearts Ungala which raised over $100,000 for 4 local charities.
- With a sponsorship of the Glow Gala, over $110,000 was raised for the Victoria Women’s Transition House.
- This spring we funded a new boat engine for the Victoria Youth Paddling Club, and upgrades to the Shelbourne Community Kitchens’ greenhouse.
Peninsula Co-op Student Awards
The Peninsula Co-op Educational Scholarships provides opportunities to students pursuing post-secondary education off Vancouver Island. This was done to improve the quality of opportunities available to our members and their families. Two scholarships are awarded in the value of $1,500 and $1,000.
