Here are some upcoming community events that you, as a member-owner, are supporting!
July 1: Gorge Canada Day Picnic – celebrate Canada Day with family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and community fun at the Gorge.
July 1: Peninsula Co-op Food Bank Drive – support local food banks by donating at all Peninsula Co-op and The Liquor Co. 1977 locations.
August 1: Nautical Days – enjoy one of the Comox Valley’s favourite summer celebrations, featuring family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and local vendors.
August 22: Cobble Hill Fair – enjoy a day of community spirit with local exhibits, entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities.
August 26: Victoria Fringe Festival – celebrating creativity through live theatre, comedy, music, and performing arts.
August 30: Feast of Fields – support local food systems while enjoying an outdoor culinary experience featuring Vancouver Island chefs, farmers, and producers.
Donations at a glance:
- $10,000 donated to Power To Be in support of their Wilderness School programs.
- $20,000 invested in local post-secondary scholarships, supporting students across our communities.
