Panorama Recreation Centre
Peninsula Co-op has a long standing and very successful partnership with Panorama Recreation. We were pleased to be able to formalize this partnership in 2001 by becoming a Platinum Sponsor and contributing $10,000 that year and each year since then.
In 2005 we also committed to supporting the new Panorama swipe cards with a contribution of $3,000 per year.
Panorama Recreation Centre has a long standing success record with programs like the mini soccer tournament at Christmas, and the lacrosse tournament in the summer. We appreciate Panorama’s support with drop-in program passes for our staff, help with our Kids Club and the Peninsula Co-op Charity Golf Classic to name a few.
We have seen benefits to our company and to the community as a result of this partnership. We are pleased to support an organization that contributes so much to our local community and to our young people.

Cathie Ounsted (Co-op Board Member) presented a $13,000 cheque to Tim Chad (Chair - Peninsula Recreation Commission) in January 2009. This represents both the $10,000 annual sponsorship and the $3,000 annual swipe card program sponsorship.
