Grand Opening at your new Peninsula Co-op in Mill Bay!

Your new Mill Bay Co-op is our 12th Peninsula Co-op retail petroleum site!  This is the largest retail petroleum site on Vancouver Island and we expect it will soon be the busiest as well.  This site is conveniently located on the East side of the highway at Deloume Rd., perfect for a quick stop as you head up-island.  In addition to 20 fuelling spots, we feature diesel, auto propane, cylinder propane and marked mid-grade gasoline!

Come inside and visit our 3,300 sq. ft. convenience store for a hot coffee, cold drink, fresh sandwich or snack.  Freshen up in the nicest restrooms you will find on your travels, offering 100% touch-free convenience!

Grand Opening celebrations took place Saturday, October 10, 2009.  Cooper was on hand to help celebrate.  Hourly draws for $100 - $700 were awarded as well as each draw winner was able to select a local charity to be awarded a donation of $250 from Peninsula Co-op.  Over 1,100 free Hot Dogs were BBQed and music was provided by CFax and SUN FM.

A highlight of the Ribbon Cutting Cermony was a $20,000 cheque presentation to the Mill Bay Fire Department for the purchase and installation of a pre-emptive traffic device at Deloume Rd. and Trans Canada Highway.  This device will be used by all emergency vehicles and will increase both the speed of response and safety in the community!
