Meet The Newest Member to the Co-op Family!

Born in the wild magical tundra of northern Canada, Cooper realized at a very early age that laying about all winter on the snowy icy flats was not for him. Entertainment....that's what life was all about. So he packed his belongings and set off to seek fortune and fame in the west.

Noticing an advertisement in the want ads from the Co-operative Retailing System, who were looking for a mascot to represent them, Cooper realized that with a name like Cooper and all of his talents, representing the Co-op was what he had been waiting for all his life.

After his interview Cooper got the call, and was selected from many applicants to become Cooper the Co-op Mascot!

Funny, cuddly, and entertaining, Cooper is always the life of any party, and tons of fun to be around! He has already made appearances at several Co-op community events, such as the  Charity Golf Classic and our AGM, and is sure to be seen more and more frequently.

Watch for Cooper around your local Co-op location, and be sure to come and say hello!
