Co-op Provides Sponsorship to Cowichan Recreation

Peninsula Co-op is proud to sponsor Cowichan Recreation in Duncan, providing $4,500 to assist with their Youth Outreach Program, specifically so that they may purchase a passenger van to transport staff, equipment, and youth from several areas who are involved with the program.

As part of this partnership Cowichan Recreation will provide discounted registered programs and drop in swim and skate passes to our staff.  The partnership also provides us with access to the facilities for staff events and meetings, and a Kids Club skating party. As well, Duncan Kids’ Club members can watch for Cowichan passes in their birthday cards.
