Board of Directors 2009-2010
The Co-op Board of Directors is elected by the membership and is responsible for directing the activities of the Co-op according to by-laws and co-operative legislation. The Board establishes the mission of the Co-op, formulates and implements policy, supervises and appraises the General Manager and members serve on a number of sub-committees, always remaining accountable to our membership.
The Peninsula Co-op Board of Directors has nine members. Three of these positions come up for election each year. Members receive a newsletter each spring inviting nominations for the Board and Board members are elected at the Annual General Meeting which takes place in late June.
